Born in Blagoevgrad Bulgaria, Kayden Behan is a multi-instrumentalist currently based in the East Coast of the US.
He began studying music at the age of 3, and has since developed an enriched musicality in various genres including his heritage of Balkan/Middle Eastern music. Kayden studied Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston under Brian Landrus, where he applied his education of the traditional music and rhythms to his own compositions.
Kayden has studied Oud under Simon Shaheen, as well as having performed in numerous ensembles such as “Contemporary Balkan Ensemble”, Middle Eastern Fusion, Berklee Greek Ensemble, and “Qantara Berklee”. He has also performed in the Berklee International Folk Festival, and around the Boston area.
